Course Description

This tutorial will show you how to make a 3D model for a small residential project using AutoCAD. As we create the slab and exterior walls for our home, we will first use an existing floor plan. Next, we will explore how to model windows as well as create 3D blocks that allow us to reuse the window throughout our project. After the windows have been installed, we will model the exterior doors of the house for the front and the back. Next, we'll turn our attention to interior design and how to model interior walls and doors. Finally, we will learn how to quickly and easily model the roof of our house using the Solidedit and Extrude commands. These tips and tricks will help you gain an understanding of the AutoCAD 3D tools. AutoCAD 2014 is required.
