Introduction to Corporate Finance

This course covers the basics of finance and how they can be applied to real-world situations. It includes corporate decision-making, personal finance, financial intermediation, and corporate finance. The key concepts and their applications are: time value of money; risk-return tradeoff; cost of capital; interest rates, retirement saving, mortgage financing, car leasing, capital budgeting. Asset valuation, discounted cash flow analysis. Net present value, internal rate or return, hurdle rate, payback periods.
