Mixing Audio for Animation in Audacity

This course will teach you how to use audacity for reducing the volume of your animations. Before you start, I will show how to download the free software. Next, we will create a new project. I will then show you how to playback the audio and how to move the cursor up or down. Finally, I will show how to zoom in and out. How to manage different tracks, understand the spectrogram, and work with waveforms. The differences between mono and stereo channels. After you have mastered the basics, you will be able to use the tools to understand the editing process in audacity. How to cut, move clips around and use labels. You will also learn how to use your smartphone to record audio and make it sound good, even if you don't have a budget. You will also learn about acoustics. If you have a studio with foam on the walls, I will show how to record in audacity. Next, I will show how to improve your recordings. We will take the recording that was made with my smartphone, clean it, apply equalization and compression and make it sound good enough to be used for simple animations.
