Painting Multiple Channels in Mudbox

This course will teach you how to use Mudbox and create a retro-ray gun. Mudbox is an excellent sculpting tool. However, Mudbox's unique ability to paint multiple textures channels is what makes it special. Interactively painting in 3D view allows you to create textures for your models. It is fast and efficient. Mudbox allows us to paint color and create channels such as bump, specular and reflection. We can also see the details as we paint. This course will teach you how to modify and create multiple texture channels such as the ones mentioned above. Blending multiple layers of paint to create specific effects will be covered. We also learn how to use stamps and use the projection brush to add decals. Our example will use a retro-ray gun toy. However, the techniques that you'll learn can be applied to any other Mudbox painting.
