Course Description

This Maya tutorial will show you how to set up tank treads. Our first step will be to set up the tread. We'll also learn how to avoid flipping and how to make the tread move as we move the vehicle. Finally, we will ensure that the tread flows in the correct direction and cycles along its route. To save time and effort, we'll learn how to create a script to position the treads evenly along our route. We'll also cover how to align the treads with uneven terrain and how to make it scalable. You will have the skills to create your own sturdy tread systems by the end of the training. Software required: Autodesk Maya 2014.
