Course Description

It is a great help to understand real-world studio lighting techniques in order to create realistic and well-designed CG renders. A solid foundation is provided by a familiarity with classic lighting configurations that can be used to create a variety of scenes. Studio Lighting Techniques, taught by Maya and Arnold, will show you how to create studio lighting and render scenes like they were shot in a studio. You'll first learn about lighting and how they work in real life. You'll then explore both the technical and creative details of lighting using Arnold and Maya 2017. This course will teach you how to use Maya 2017 or Arnold in CG lighting design. Maya 2017 or Arnold are required.
