Course Description

Do you dream of being able to create your own games? This course is for you if you are interested in a career in game programming. This course, Swords and Shovels Loot System, will teach you how to create a loot system and an item system for your game. You'll first learn about ScriptableObjects, and how they can be used to create item code contracts. Next, you will learn how to create spawn items that will instantly inflate your item into your scene. The connection to other systems like Character Stats and Inventory, as well as Game Managers will be explored. You will be able to create a functional inventory system, which can be easily integrated with other important game systems by the end of this Unity course. Unity is required.
