This course will walk you through a sample clinical study data set and help you to create clinical study reports that can be submitted to the FDA (in the US), or other regulatory authorities in other nations. Not only will you improve your SAS programming skills, but you will also learn the essential concepts required to work in the pharmaceutical industry in the areas biostatistics/clinical data management.

After an introduction to the pharma industry, and the learning of relevant concepts about clinical trials. The course then takes you through a hands on training exercise to create the vital and fundamental clinical study report called the demographics tableau.

Start with an Excel sheet of sample clinical study data. Next, import it into SAS to derive all variables from the mock table and then generate a clinical report. This will all be done using the SAS programming steps with detailed explanations at each step.

This course will teach you how to work with clinical data and create a clinical study report. You can also extend these steps to build other reports that are clinical trial submissions to regulatory bodies.
