Course Description

This After Effects tutorial will show you how to make your projects faster and more manageable with After Effects CS5.5. This tutorial will begin with the vibrance and black-and-white effects. These new controls allow for new creative possibilities. Next, we will look at the Camera Lens Blur feature and 3D Camera Depth of Field blur feature. These features are greatly improved and allow natural depth blurs and bokeh. Next, we will learn how to quickly perform repetitive placement tasks with the align panel. Next, we will learn how to use 3d light falloff to create realistic lighting. We'll then spend some time looking at the Warp Stabilizer effect, which stabilizes footage quickly and easily in just a few clicks. We'll also be looking at the Stereoscopic 3D camera system and how it can be used with our 3D projects to create a stereo experience. This tutorial will teach you how to use the new features in After Effects CS5.5. After Effects CS5.5 is required.
