The University's origins can be traced back as far as 1876, when Gibson & Weldon was founded. Later. The College of Law was established in 1962 by the amalgamation of these two firms. In 2012, they were awarded a full university title. The University of Law's Business School was established in 2016. Since then, it has seen growth across multiple campuses and partnerships that have been made with top international institutions like the GISMA Business School in Berlin.
