Analysts in Accounts Payable ensure that the processing of invoices for their company is on time and accurate. They also ensure that invoices are complete. They also take care of reviewing and processing travel and expense reimbursement requests and also ensure that all checks accounts, credit and debit accounts are properly resolved. They also have to maintain and manage all records of payments by recording them electronically and then filing any paper documents required. In all their work, the analysts must adhere to all organizational rules and regulations. In general, accountants are employed full-time in a workplace. The physical requirements for this job are usually minimal, and require lengthy hours of typing on a computer or using the phone. There is usually no travel required for the position of accounts payable analyst.
