Quality engineers from suppliers (SQEs) are accountable for coordinating suppliers and ensuring the quality standards that meet the specifications of their company. They are responsible for conducting regular audits of suppliers in order to verify compliance with the regulatory standards and are also actively participating in the development of strategic plans that is based on quality control strategies. They oversee their supply chains, act as a liaison between suppliers, offer suggestions for improvement in process and structural quality and work with other engineers in a group working environment.
