Course Description

This University of Michigan specialization teaches data science using the python programming languages. This skills-based specialization is for those who already have programming or a basic knowledge of python. They will use popular python tools such as scikit-learn and pandas to analyze their data. Introduction to Data Science (course 1), Applied Plotting Charting & Data Representation (course 2) and Applied Machine Learning (course 3) should all be taken together. Courses 4 and 5 may be taken in any order after you have completed those courses. To earn a certificate, you must complete all five courses.
