Course Description

In this course, Robert Wiebe, an expert in Unity 3D Game Development, teaches experienced Unity developers how to use advanced features within Unity 4. Before starting the tutorial, it is recommended to have a basic understanding of Unity 4 and its features.

The course covers multiplayer network gaming, including creating Internet-based Network Gaming and LAN-based Network Gaming using.NET sockets. Robert demonstrates how to create a network chat system and skin avatars.

Moving on to the Social API, Robert covers specific iOS Game Center features such as the Leaderboard, Achievements, and in-app buying.

The tutorial also addresses using a batch mode Unity game on a standalone server and third-party solutions, Photon or Smart Fox.

By completing this course, participants will gain a deep understanding of advanced Unity 4 features and learn how to implement network gaming, and integrate in-app buying and social gaming into their projects.
