Course Description

The final course will tie together all the concepts you have learned so far. Qwiklabs will test your ability to apply multiple skills in real-world situations.

We'll first look at external Python modules and how they can be used to enhance your code's capabilities. Next, we will learn how to use documentation to help us learn new modules. We will use, for example, the Python Image Library (PIL), to create and modify images. While we will show you how to do common tasks from the course material, it is up to you to look through the module documentation to find the solution to specific problems. Next, we will show you how to communicate outside of your code. Data serialization is used to convert in-memory objects to messages that can then be sent to other programmes. Your program will communicate with other programs via the network using Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). You will also learn how to send emails messages to other programs in case your code needs to communicate with a person. This course will teach you how to use your skills to solve a problem. Your final capstone project will require you to describe the needs of your customer and then create a program.
