Capstone: Applying Project Management in the Real World

This final capstone course in the Google Project Management Certificate will allow you to apply the project management skills and knowledge you have acquired so far. As they give the foundation for the activities, we encourage learners to finish Courses 1-5 prior to beginning the final course.

You will be able to "observe" the project manager in action as you move through this course. This course will teach you how to: - Analyze project documents to determine project requirements and evaluate stakeholders; - Create a project charter to help align the project scope and goals between stakeholders; - Identify tasks and milestones, document them, and then prioritize them in a plan. - Establish quality management standards and share qualitative data effectively. - Showcase your project's success through effective reporting. By the end, you will have a portfolio of project management artifacts to demonstrate the skills that you have acquired throughout the program. These artifacts will show your career readiness for job applications in this field. You will also be asked common questions during interviews for project management jobs. You will be guided by current Google project managers who will provide the tools, strategies, and resources you need to achieve your goals. You will be able to apply for project managers positions at introductory levels after completing the program. Employers will recognize your certification of completion badge.
