Course Description

The course examines the origins of important materials used in everyday products and how they can be made more efficient, last longer and work in closed loops. Although this is the goal of the Circular economy, it does not happen by itself. This is the outcome of decisions and strategies made by suppliers, business owners, policy makers, and consumers. The course covers many examples of sustainable materials management. It also provides tools and skills for analysing circular business models. You will be encouraged to develop your own ideas and become involved in the Transition to a Circular economy.
