Course Description

This course is designed to teach engineering students how to improve communication skills through theory, examples, and practical exercises.

The topics include basic rhetoric (how you can be clear), argumentation theory basics (how to make persuasive speeches), grant writing, scientific writing, and public speaking. Engineering scholars are the main audience. However, anyone can benefit from the first three weeks of this course if they wish to improve their communication skills.
