Course Description

Cantera is an open source suite of tools that solves problems in chemical kinetics and thermodynamics. Computational combustion refers to the field of numerical modeling and simulations that use large Kun Yin Cal parallel systems. It offers a new way to analyse and interpret the dynamics and Kun Ku lame Kun Quan interactions that are common in all combustion systems.

This course falls under the category of mechanical and automotive engineering, with CFD as a subdomain. You can import the Cantera library to MATLAB and Python. Python is the preferred language because it is widely used and can handle operations better than MATLAB and C++.

Students and professionals with a background in programming and thermodynamics will find this course useful. They are also interested in the functions of engines and combustion modeling.
