Course Description

A picture can convey a thousand words but only if it is the right one. This course will show you how to use Google Sheets for data visualization. You will learn how to create simple chart types, such as histograms, scatter charts and bar charts. Also, you'll learn how to create more complicated types like sparkline or candlestick. How to prepare data, how to use Data Validation and VLookup formulas, and how to target specific data when charting. Conditional Formatting allows you to apply a particular format to a cell or range of cells based on specific criteria. You will also learn how to create dashboards that display data and plots together. Data from the Olympics, shark attacks, and Marine Technology from ASX will also be used.
