Course Description

It is a 2-week course. The first week will cover the main activities of the Industry to deliver electricity to consumers. This course will cover the basics of electricity, including how it's generated and transmitted. We also discuss how electricity enters buildings and how electricity consumption directly impacts on electricity transmission. This will help you: Define electricity;

The course will shift to Electric Industry markets in the second week. Learn about how electricity prices are determined, what market structure is used to determine the dispatch of power plants for electricity, as well as how market regulations and recent changes in generation technology and market pricing are changing the Electric Industry Markets. What will you learn?
