Course Description

This course is designed for those who want to learn English and improve their English language skills in order to be more employable and work in a workplace setting. This course will provide English language skills for job seekers and young professionals. We'll be focusing on the most important aspects of English for work each week. You will see and hear audio recordings of people in different situations. These include those who are applying for jobs, preparing to take interviews and starting new jobs. An experienced tutor will review some of the language and point out useful points that can help you improve your English in workplace contexts. This course doesn't follow any language syllabus, but rather uses workplace English as its starting point. The course includes functional language phrases as well as real-world workplace scenarios. You can practice your English by taking short quizzes or participating in discussions.

You'll be able to use the business English vocabulary and expressions in your workplace as you move through the topics. You'll also learn some workplace English expressions and practice workplace English. Finally, you will be able to analyze what makes a job application or interview successful. You will be asked questions and shared your thoughts with fellow learners throughout the course. You will get the most from the course if you are willing to share your knowledge and join the conversation.
