Finance of Mergers and Acquisitions: Designing an M&A Deal

This course is about the theory and practice in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). It focuses on Finance. Finance of M&A draws on tools from many areas of Finance to assist managers and investment bankers in designing successful M&A deals. We will be able to price and value M&A deals, and determine the best financing mix to finance an M&A deal. This course covers all major types of M&A deals, including strategic M&A and private equity leveraged buyouts.

This course is for anyone who wants to improve their understanding and execution of M&A deals. Students will gain a deeper understanding of capital structure and financial modeling, both theoretically and in practice.
