Financial Management for Product Leaders

This course is designed for active or aspiring product leaders who want to learn how to manage and secure funding for their activities. To help product leaders develop a business case for their ideas and secure funding, we will dissect key financing and accounting concepts.

This course covers four areas: * Understanding the basics and creating financial statements for new ventures in the corporate environment; • Examining valuation techniques to understand how to evaluate and grow the corporate venture's value; * Exploring different sources of financing for the corporate enterprise; and * Applying the lessons learned from the course to structure a funding agreement and pitch the corporate venture.
