Course Description

Even with the advancements in forensic science, eyewitness evidence remains an important component of criminal investigations. Psychological research has shown the dangers of this testimony, and how cautious the police need to be when questioning witnesses.

This course examines the psychology behind eyewitness testimony by using videos of actual witnesses.

As you solve a crime using only eyewitness evidence, you will be able to assess your cognitive abilities and determine if they are comparable to those of police officers.
