Course Description

Do you want to learn more about the rehearsal and performance process of musicians? Do you want to learn new techniques for understanding and listening to music? This course will teach you how to understand music notation, how musicians use it, and how that notation is related to the music you hear, from short melodies to full orchestral scores. We'll be focusing on Mozart, Schubert and Beethoven, and will introduce you to a pianist and small chamber group leader who will show you how they create memorable performances using the notes on the page.

You can see some of the steps in this course before you sign up.
