Google Workspace Security is the 3rd course in the Google Workspace Administration Series.

This course will cover the different aspects of Google Workspace Security, including user password policies. You'll also learn how to enforce two-step verification (2SV) for your users. Learn about application security, and how to whitelist or block API access to your account. It will be clear how Google Workspace integrates with many predefined third-party applications. The SSO options available in Google Workspace will be familiarized. You will also learn how to identify potential security threats within your organization and how to address them with the tools in the admin console. Participants will be able:

- Setup Google's default user security settings, including password policies and recovery options.

Learn about the SSO options and the differences between using Google as an identity provider and a third party provider.

- Use Google as your Identity Provider to integrate cloud-based enterprise SAML apps into your Google Workspace account.

Learn how to integrate your own LDAP-compliant applications into Google Workspace with the Secure LDAP service.

To prevent malicious attacks, restrict access to Google services to trusted applications.

Manage the Google Workspace Marketplace to make sure only trusted apps can be installed on your devices.

- Use security and alert centres to triage and address security and privacy concerns in your company. Prerequisites: You must have completed the Introduction to Google Workspace Administration or Managing Google Workspace courses.
