Course Description

This 1-hour-long project-based course will teach you how to analyze your industry, identify your competitive advantage and use the Competitive Profile Matrix (CPM). CPM allows you to compare your company to the competition, and then determine the relative strengths and weakness of each competitor based on Critical Success Factors. CSFs are given weight based upon their perceived importance. The rank is then multiplied by their weight to create the weighted score. This gives the company with the most dominant strengths in the industry. The competitive profile matrix CPM allows companies to see their competitive landscape from one page. To demonstrate how the CPM matrix works, let's use a spreadsheet together to analyze one division of our energy service company. You can use the example as a case study to help you analyze your company, or any other company. This project is designed for business leaders who wish to gain a deeper understanding of their competition and how they compare with their competitors.
