Course Description

A Certified Kubernetes App Developer (CKAD), can design, build, and deploy Kubernetes-native applications. A CKAD is able to define application resources and use Kubernetes Core Primitives to create/migrate/configure, expose, and monitor scalable applications. This exam requires a working knowledge of microservice architecture and container runtimes. The successful candidate will feel comfortable working with container images that are OCI-compliant. They will also be able to apply Cloud Native concepts and architectures.
