Course Description

Depending on our current situation, we all experience different levels of motivation, self-confidence and anxiety. This course will teach you about exercise psychology and their relationship to current issues in sports, health, and fitness. As you learn about three mental skill training methods and their applications, you'll discover the link between the brain in exercise and sport. These psychological training techniques can improve athletic performance by combining psychological knowledge with scientific research and applying case studies.

Describe three core Mental Skills Training techniques (imagery and action observation, self-talk, goal-setting) that are frequently used in sport and exercise psychology
