Too many patients are left with long-term complications or die after surgery.

A multi-disciplinary approach to perioperative medicine that aims to optimize the care of high-risk patients is a new, multi-disciplinary approach. It includes disciplines like anaesthesia, surgery, nursing and elderly care.

This RCoA-approved course was developed by anaesthetists from University College London (UCL), Hospitals. It teaches you the essential concepts that will help you improve patient safety and lower healthcare costs.
