Course Description

The course will introduce you to Key Stage 3 pedagogical strategies in the first two weeks. There are many pedagogies that can be used to develop computational thinking skills in your students, including unplugged approaches, PRIMM and others. Also, you'll be looking at examples of work and focusing on tasks like Parson's Problems. The final week of the course will see many of these pedagogies being used in the context of a rock-paper, scissors game. You'll also be asked to think about how you could adapt the teaching for your students. CPD Certification Service, established in 1996, is the most independent CPD accreditation institution. It works across all industry sectors to support the CPD policies of academic and professional bodies. Before you sign up, take a look at some of the steps.
