Course Description

You will need to be able to securely and quickly transfer files, regardless of whether you are an engineer or business administrator. Protocol Deep Dive FTP and Its Variants teaches you the fundamental knowledge necessary to operate and deploy a range of file transfer services. First, you'll learn all about the active and passive FTP operating modes as well as the technical details that surround their operation. You will then learn how to overcome security issues with the original FTP specification, by deploying FTP Secure via SSL or SSH-based FTP. You will also learn how to protect your organization's file transfer capabilities when you migrate IPv6. This includes security updates and protocol messaging.
