Course Description

R and Python enjoyed an incredible rise in popularity during "Machine Learning Age". Both languages are easy to learn and high-level languages. Which language you choose will depend on your education, work experience, and background. R is a programming language that's specifically designed for statisticians. Python is more general-purpose, however. There will always be an instance where an algorithm is implemented in one language and not another, regardless of your background. It could be that a feature is less documented, or that the tutorial you found online uses Python instead of R.

Both cases require the R user to use Python in order to complete his/her work or to understand how Python implements it in R.
