Course Description

Our modern lifestyle and diet are directly related to an increasing number of diseases. Obesity and weight loss are two of the most important areas in research to prevent and reverse type 2 diabetes.

This course will examine the physiological effects of weight gain or loss. This course will explain what type 2 diabetes treatment, prevention, remission and cure entails.

We will also discuss how people living with type 2 Diabetes can help themselves and the role of healthcare professionals in supporting self management.
