What's the reason for Grand Paris? What does the change in the relationship between Paris suburbs and Paris mean? \\\"Searching For the Grand Paris\\\" MOOC is an original MOOC that features accounts from residents, representatives of associations, experts, and researchers. It includes archival footage, documents, and a comparative analysis between Brussels, London, Paris, and other French cities. The MOOC blends historical and comparative approaches, as well as a discussion on controversial topics. It examines the concept of scale and asks what is at stake when the Grand Paris project is implemented. It examines Paris' history and region as well as issues like ethnic and socio segregation, economic growth and safety. The search for the Grand Paris is not limited to universities. It is open to the public and free. This lively and dynamic MOOC was created in collaboration with students at the University of Science Po (Paris Institute of Political Studies) and many other contributors.

TEACHER: Patrick Le Gales (politist, sociologist).
