Course Description

The AMNH Course The Dynamic Earth: A Course For Educators gives students an overview about the Earth's origin and development. This course is based on the Next Generation Science Standards. It examines radiometric dating and geological timescales. We'll also explore how scientists place rocks. Participants will not only be able to study geology from a global perspective, but they'll also explore their personal geologic histories. Participants will be able to bring the knowledge of Earth's dynamic Earth, along with their content resources, questions and assignments, into their teaching.
