Course Description

You may have heard animators say that they animated shots on the twos. Perhaps you were told to animated your scene using threes. What are these people talking? This class will help you understand the concept of animation.

This class will show you how to choose the right frame rate for your animated project. We will also discuss the differences between 24 and 30 frames per seconds and which one to choose. We will see dots orbiting at different frames rates. This will help us understand how more drawings can create cleaner animation. This will help you decide whether to animate a particular shot on the ones or twos, threes, threes, or fours.

This class is recommended for Intermediate Level students because the concepts can be difficult to grasp for new animators. Even if animation is not your first love, I recommend this course. After you become more familiar with animation, I believe the concepts will make more sense.
