The State University of New York has the largest comprehensive university system within the United States. Our 64 institutions have a significant impact on New York State as well as the world. These include research universities, academic medical centres, liberal arts colleges and community colleges. We also have an online learning network and colleges of technology. Nearly 1.3 million students are served by us, with 600,000. Including credit-bearing courses and programs, and 700,000. through continuing education and community outreach programs. Nearly 3 million SUNY alumni live around the world and each have their own impact.
