Azim Premji University was founded in 2010. The university is also known as APU Bangalore. The University was established in Karnataka by Azim Premji University Act 2010 as a not-for-profit university. Azim Premji University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2F. APU Bangalore offers courses to the students at two levels namely undergraduate and postgraduate.
