Dharmsinh Desai University was established in 1968 by Shri Dharmsinh Dadubhai Desai. The campus of the university is spread over an area of 42 acres of land. Dharmsinh Desai University is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The university is also accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). DDU Nadiad is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
