SRM University Sonepat (Delhi-NCR) was established in 2013 under the Haryana Private University Act 2006. SRM University Sonepat is a private university established by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology Trust (SRM IST Trust). It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The campus is spread over 48 acres of land. The university is a member Institution of “Association of Common Wealth Universities (ACU)”. Further, the varsity is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI), Department of Science & Industrial Research, (Government of India) and by the by National Council For Hotel Management And Catering Technology (NCHMCT).
