Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur, was established in 1935 to give quality and advanced education to girls. The institute has been approved by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an ‘A’ grade and is recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission). In NIRF 2021 ranking, Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur has been ranked 66th in the overall category and 67th in the engineering category. As per the NIRF ranking 2021 for the university category, the varsity has been ranked 35 whereas it was ranked 55 in the NIRF ranking 2020 in the university category. The institute has been ranked 22nd in the pharmacy category by the NIRF in 2021.
It provides education to girls from school level to Ph.D. level. Girls can enroll themselves to study different courses like M.Phil., MA, Ph.D., etc., in different specializations made available by the university. The Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur has also been termed as the National Centre for Women’s education. The university was founded by Smt. Ratan Shastri and Smt. Pandit Hiralal Shastri in the memory of their beloved daughter Shantabai.
The institute provides gym facilities for the students. The gymnasium is located on the campus and is equipped with all the modern equipment in good condition for students to use. To be a member, the students can take the membership of the gym.
