The British Academy of Photography has earned accreditation from the International Approval and Registration Centre (IARC). The IARC is a not-for-profit association. The centre was founded in 1999 in response to increasing globalisation of world economies and societies, and is currently managed by an elected committee of six education practitioners and industry professionals.
