Established in the year 2008 under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research Mysore is a Deemed to be University. JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research Mysore is also known as JSS AHER Mysore. The university was formerly known as JSS University. As per the official website, the vision of the institute is to impart education that will help to transform individuals and the society. The varsity is a part of the JSS Mahavidyapeetha and has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The varsity has several collaborations with foreign institutions.
