BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women was established in 2012 by Chairman Sri KV Vishnu Raju under Sri Vishnu Educational Society (SVES). The college is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with grade A. BVRIT Hyderabad is also accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad. The college has been ranked at 199th position as per the NIRF ranking 2020 in the Engineering category. The college has also been ranked in Band B (26th-50th) by ARIIA, 2020.
The college offers courses in the fields of engineering. B.Tech and M.Tech are the courses offered by BVRIT Hyderabad College of Engineering for Women.
