Today, millions of companies around the globe are handling endless amounts of documents in many formats. Robotic Process Automation (RPA), which is gaining popularity in nearly every industry, can only be used with structured data sources.
What about data that isn't fully structured? Does it come in different layouts? Cognitive automation is a new aspect of RPA that addresses this issue. You can use RPA to create automations that have "cognitive" capabilities. Artificial Intelligence (AI), which is used to create cognitive automation, allows you to understand and learn the same way as the human brain. It assists people in making decisions, completing tasks, and meeting their goals. Cognitive automation can be used to extract semi-structured or unstructured data, which is about 80% of all data. Data is a valuable asset. It is difficult for businesses to understand large amounts of data and generate tangible value. The data available to capture manual business processes is very limited. Robotic Process Automation (or RPA Analytics) is the solution. RPA bots automate business processes, but they also digitize them. They interpret large amounts of data in near real time to give actionable information. This course will introduce you to cognitive automation and the role of AI in it. It also includes Automation Anywhere's cognitive solution, IQ Bot. Automation Anywhere's Web Control Room, Bot Insight and RPA analytics will be covered. This course will teach you the six steps required to deploy cognitive automation. Next, we will look at the IQ Bot portal – Automation Anywhere's web application that allows you to create cognitive IQ bots. The IQ Bot workflow will show you how to use the portal. Next, you'll learn how RPA Analytics help improve and interpret automated business processes. As an RPA analytics platform, Bot Insight will be demonstrated. We will also discuss the various types of RPA analytics, and how to generate RPA analysis via two mechanisms: the Web Control Room for Operational Analytics as well as Bot Insight for Business Analytics. You will also learn how to use RPA Mobile to view and modify the default CoE dashboard published via Bot Insight.
