Jaypee University of Information Technology Solan (JUIT Solan) was established in the year 2002. It is a private co-educational institute. The campus is spread over 25 acres of land. JUIT Solan was conceived by a joint vision of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and the founder chairman of Jaypee Group Shri Jai Prakash Gaur in 2000.
