Course Description

Welcome to 7 Days of Wagtail where you will build a Wagtail CMS website this week using Wagtail CMS, Django, and Python. Wagtail CMS is Python's #1 most popular content management system, similar to WordPress but designed for web developers to prevent users from "breaking" the website. Throughout the course, you will learn how to install Wagtail, edit the home page, add custom model fields, create new page types with custom templates, add images with auto thumbnailing, create snippets selectable on pages, add StreamFields, and implement global site settings. This course is designed to take beginners from knowing nothing about Wagtail CMS to building a basic website in just 7 days, with the option to binge-watch all the videos and complete the course in a day if desired.
