Are you looking to learn Adobe Illustrator from an expert with over 13 years of real-world experience? Do you prefer to learn by creating real-world projects, rather than just learning endless tools and not knowing how to use them? This class is for you.
This masterclass will cover 5 common project types. As we create these projects, we will be able to use a variety of tools.
This section is for people who have little or no experience with Adobe Illustrator. I wanted to make sure that there was a section that addressed those who feel they must start at the very beginning, review basic tools, and master the Pen tool.
In the next section, we will jump into our first Project. Learn how to create different geometric shapes including diamonds, polygons, and cool 3-D cube patterns. This will allow us to use the snap-to-point feature and the grid tool.
Next, we will create an large poster for a music festival. We will learn how to layout and work with Illustrator typography.
Illustrator is my primary tool for creating logos. We will create our own coffee-themed logo and learn how to create multiple versions for different situations, including cups, tshirts, and digital images.
T-shirt design can be very fun. So I included a section where we create our t-shirts with custom drawn icons using and even learn how to apply that cool texture effect.
Adobe Illustrator can be used to create social media graphics. We will learn how to use the artboard system and how to create different sizes graphics for various social platforms. Will will be able to master more than one type of social media graphic, including blending modes, cropping images, typography, layering, and typography.
This class is dynamic and will continue to evolve with new content and projects.
